Proposed Berrybank Community Enagement Committee

Berrybank Development Pty Ltd (BDPL) is seeking nominations from local community members to represent the community on the Berrybank Wind Farm Community Engagement Committee (CEC).

The purpose of the CEC is to provide a forum for regular, open discussion between representatives of BDPL, the community, the Golden Plains and Corangamite councils, and other stakeholders about issues relating to the development of the wind farm, and to be a forum for ongoing communication with the community during the construction and operation phases of the wind farm.

If you would like to represent your community on the committee then please send a written submission to info@unionfenosa.com.au detailing your nomination, with reference to the following criteria:

– your willingness to contribute constructively to the CEC

– your experience of providing feedback and information to the community and stakeholders

– you are a current resident of the local Berrybank area (or you have a high awareness of the district), you are active in the community, and you’ll be available to attend 4-6 committee meetings per year, and

– other relevant issues that you feel are important to your nomination to the CEC

The community representatives will be selected in consultation with the councils.

Nomination submissions close on Friday 28 June 2013. If you would like to make an enquiry in relation to the CEC, or if you would like more information about nominating, then please contact Union Fenosa Wind Australia on Free call
