Project Timeline:

• The planning application was lodged with the Government in July 2009.
  
• The public exibition period for the proposed Berrybank Wind Farm was held during October & November 2009. Approximtely 34 submissions were received, representing approximtely equal numbers of support (including conditional support) and opposition.
  
• An independent panel was apointed by the Minister for Planning to conduct a hearing and make recommendations to the Minister.
  
• The Panel Hearing was conducted during February 2010, and the Panel Report was submitted to the Minister for Planning in May 2010.
  
• The Minister for Planning as the responsible authority for the application approved the Planning Application on 24th August 2010.
